JACKSONVILLE WOMEN VETERANS First Meet and Greet Event

Greetings from this newly formed Meetup group for women Veterans of all ages. We welcome you if you were Active Duty, Reserves or National Guard, Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corp, Coast Guard or Space Force.
If you served our country in Uniform you are a very special woman! Here are a few examples of how special we are:
*Did you know that according to the U.S Department of Veteran Affairs the total percentage of women Veterans between 2000 and 2023 increased from 6.3% to 11.3% of the total Veteran population in the United States?
*Did you know that according to the U.S. Department of Labor women Veterans make up only 2% of all working women while women make up over 50% of the US workforce?
*Did you know that Florida is one of the top five states for women Veterans?
We would love to get together and meet you, hear your stories, network and have fun. Many of us are new to Jacksonville and this is a great way to meet new people of all ages and backgrounds.
The initial founding members have had two get togethers. We had a great time and we are now ready to host our first official "Meet and Greet" for the entire group to meet new folks and share ideas on what type of activities are of interest.
