Welcome to the Jakarta Social Meetup Group. We’re all looking for good times, meaningful connections, and new friendships because, let’s face it, we’re social creatures. Whether you already have a few friends and want to grow your circle or you’re simply looking to meet more people, why not join us?
Our goal is simple: to bring people together in Jakarta, have a great time, and try fun new activities. Every event is designed to be a fresh and enjoyable experience. From park walks to bowling, karaoke to quiz nights, there’s something for everyone. And the best part?
This group is completely free. We’re not here for your money. There’s no membership fee and no spam. Any costs related to activities will be paid directly to the companies or venues hosting the events.
Also, you don’t need any special skills for any of the activities. We’re all about trying new things, having fun, and making new friends.
Our meetups are scheduled once or twice a week usually on Friday and Saturday in and around Jakarta. We’ll do our best to keep things centrally located and convenient for everyone.
In this group, your input and ideas are always encouraged. If certain activities turn out to be a hit, we’ll gladly arrange them again. We’re open to your suggestions because this group is all about creating enjoyable experiences together.
Our main rule for the group is to be reliable. Confirmed no-shows will be removed from the group to respect everyone’s time and effort.
We value all members, whether you’re more of a quiet supporter or an active voice in the conversation. What matters most is your genuine intention to connect and contribute positively.

Part 2: Garden Nights (Evening)
After exploring Indonesia's fascinating history, we'll transition to the charming ambiance of Melly's Garden for dinner, drinks, and continued conversation. This cozy garden restaurant offers the perfect setting to unwind, share stories from the museum, and enjoy Jakarta's evening atmosphere with your new friends.
This is a fun and social event, perfect for making new friends and connecting with the active and friendly Jakarta Social Community. Everyone is welcome!

Date: Saturday, 25th of April
Museum Time: 4:00 PM - 6:30 PM
Location: National Gallery of Indonesia (Galeri Nasional Indonesia)
Meeting Point: Main entrance lobby of the gallery
Price: 50k IDR. Pay at the door***
Melly's Garden Time: 7:00 PM onwards
Location: Melly's Garden,
Cost: Pay for your own food and drinks (various menu options available)***
Optional: Feel free to join us for just one part or stay for the complete experience!
📢 IMPORTANT: Attendance Reconfirmation Required
To ensure accurate headcounts and reduce no-shows, we're implementing an updated reconfirmation system for all events.
Here's how it works:
- All events start with unlimited RSVPs.
- 4 days before each event, a reconfirmation form will be posted in the event comments.
- You must reconfirm ASAP by submitting the form. Your spot is guaranteed only after you reconfirm.
- The form closes once we reach the target attendance number.
- Anyone who hasn’t reconfirmed when the form closes will be removed from the attendee list.
- If you can’t attend, change your status to Not Going.
Two‑strike rule: If you don’t reconfirm and don’t change to your status to Not Going two times, you will be removed from the group.
