Kota Tua Afternoon Adventure - Museums, Good Times and New Friends!

For this meet up, we are going to be soaking up some Old Town vibes at Kota Tua.

We’re kicking things off with a mini museum crawl at the Museum Bank Indonesia. Next, we will explore the Museum of Fine Art & Ceramics (pottery class maybe available). Then, we will take some playful photos at the Magic Art 3D Museum. After that, we'll roam the Old Town and wrap up at Batavia Cafe.

The Plan

1. Museum Bank Indonesia. We’ll explore the exhibits and cool off in the AC before the day heats up.
2. Museum of Fine Art & Ceramics. Pottery class may be available for 50k IDR.
3. Magic Art 3D Museum Jakarta. Bring your best poses—this one’s all about fun photos.
4. Fatahillah Square and other Old Town spots Stroll, people-watch, street performers, and iconic colonial architecture.
5. Dinner and drinks at Batavia Cafe Wrap-up over good food, stories, and new friends.

Good to know

Costs: Museum tickets and the 50k IDR pottery class are on your own. We’ll buy on-site; check official sites for current pricing.

What to bring: comfy shoes, water, small cash, sunscreen/hat, and a charged phone/camera. An ID can help if any discounts apply.

📢 IMPORTANT: Attendance Reconfirmation Required

To ensure accurate headcounts and reduce no-shows, we're implementing an updated reconfirmation system for all events.

Here's how it works:

• All events start with unlimited RSVPs.
• 4 days before each event, a reconfirmation form will be posted in the event comments and shared in the WhatsApp group.
• You must reconfirm ASAP by submitting the form. Your spot is guaranteed only after you reconfirm.
• The form closes once we reach the target attendance number.
• Anyone who hasn’t reconfirmed when the form closes will be removed from the attendee list.
• If you can’t attend, change your status to Not Going.

Three‑strike rule: If you don’t reconfirm and don’t change to Not Going three times, you will be removed from the group.
