Welcome to the Jakarta Social Meet Up Group. We're all on the lookout for good times and new friendships because, let's face it, humans are social creatures! Whether you have a few friends and want to expand your social circle or simply crave more connections, why not join our group?
Our goal is simple: we want to bring together anyone in Jakarta who's eager to make new friends while trying out new and fun activities at the same time.
Each event promises to be a unique experience! From park walks to bowling, language exchanges to day tips, there's something for everyone. The best part?
No specific skills are required for any of the activities — we're all about trying new things, having fun and being sociable.
Our meet-ups are typically be scheduled every week in and around Jakarta, lasting around two or three hours. We'll do our best to keep things centrally located for everyone's convenience.
The group is completely free! Any costs associated with activities will be paid directly to the respective companies or venues hosting the events.
In this group, your input and ideas are always encouraged. If some activities prove to be a hit, we'll gladly arrange them again. We're open to your suggestions because this group is all about creating enjoyable experiences together.
Here are the two main rules for the group to help keep the group vibrant:
Active participation is key. If you’re unable to attend events or engage occasionally, please consider whether this group is the right fit for you.
Kalau kamu merasa tidak sanggup untuk datang ke event-event atau berpartisipasi berkala waktu, mohon pertimbangkan untuk meninggalkan grup.
Be reliable. Confirmed no-shows will be removed to respect everyone's time and efforts.
Keandalan itu penting. Ketidakhadiran yang terkonfirmasi akan dihapus untuk menghormati waktu dan upaya semua orang.
We value all members, whether you’re more of a quiet supporter or an active voice in the conversation. What matters most is your intent to connect and contribute positively.

Let's make your work day fun! Welcome to our social co-working event where you can get some work done and make new friends at the same time, which is the way co-working should be.
The cost is 75,000 IDR for a day pass with Wi-Fi access, includes nice seating and desks, and easy access to a FamilyMart for coffee.
We will be co-working from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a break for lunch for an hour around midday or 1 p.m. However, you can come and work at anytime that suits you.
There will be plenty of time make new connections and chat throughout the day during coffee and lunch breaks, so come along and give it try.
We will be sat at the big table in the corner if it is available. When you arrive there is no need to register. Just walk to the left of reception and come and find us.

Join us for a fun Saturday night out as we hang out and hop around some of Kemang’s coolest bars!
Whether you're new in town, looking to meet some friendly faces, or just up for a good time, everyone's welcome.
Date: Saturday, 10th of May
Time: Meet at 7 p.m.
Starting Point: Die Stube, Kemang1. Die Stube 7 to 9 p.m. - We’ll kick things off with some hearty German food and beers at this classic pub. It’s relaxed, easy to find, and a great starting point for the night.
2. Eastern Promise - Lively pub which is nearby and a well-known drinking spot.
3. Bottle Locker @ Hotel Monopoli - Stylish and lively bar. Past reviews say there’s free flow tequila from 9–12 p.m. for 199k – worth investigating!
We will likely spend about an hour or two in each place, depending on the vibe. All the venues are close to each other.
