【2Days】Hiking Mt.Naeba and exploring Niigata /苗場山ハイキングと新潟散策

Let’s climb Nebasan in Niigata prefecture and explore Niigata area (maybe we will also check out Nagaoka fireworks 🎆 from the distance which is the biggest fireworks in Japan).

Mount Naeba (苗場山, Naeba-san) is a 2,145-meter (7,037 ft) high stratovolcano located on the border of Nagano and Niigata prefectures in central Honshu, Japan. It’s one of the 100 mountains and a popular destination for hiking, skiing, and enjoying natural scenery. The summit area features a unique wetland with ponds and grassy fields, accessible via wooden walkways.

We will rent a car and visit Kiyotsu gorge and explore beautiful nature on Day 1 and will hit the mountain on Day 2.

苗場山（なえばさん）は、本州中部の長野県と新潟県の県境に位置する標高2,145メートルの成層火山です。百名山のひとつであり、ハイキングやスキー、自然の景観を楽しむ場所として人気があります。山頂エリアには池や草原が広がる独特の湿地帯があり、木製の遊歩道でアクセスできるようになっています。

1日目は清津渓谷を訪れ、美しい自然を散策し、その後はBBQを予定しています。新潟は米どころなので酒蔵も立ち寄る予定です。2日目は苗場山に向かい山頂を目指します。その後温泉に寄ってから帰ります。
