Let’s enjoy autumn hike in Izu and explore Shuzenji area!

Darumayama, located in the Izu Peninsula of Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan, offers visitors a chance to experience breathtaking views of the Suruga Bay Coastline and on clear days, a fantastic sight of Mt. Fuji. The winding trails among kuma bamboo grass lead to the 982-meter high peak. A bit too early for foliage but we can still enjoy the hike and the view!

On Day 1, we will meet at Mishima station and will drive to the mountain. After the hike we will stay at a hotel with a natural hot spring and buffet dinner and chill.

On Day 2, we will explore Shuzenji onsen area.
Shuzenji Onsen (修善寺温泉) is one of the oldest and most famous hot spring resort towns on the Izu Peninsula, with a history that traces back over 1,200 years. We will walk around and explore the town. Will also drive down south to check out famous Joren falls and Kawazu Seven falls.

The event ends around 17:00 on Sunday but feel free to extend your stay if you like.

Meeting point: Mishima station/三島駅at 8:50
(You can take Kodama #807 but as long as you show up on time, I dont care how you get there.)

Level: beginner to intermediate
Distance: 8km (about 5hrs)
Elevation gain: 700m

Participation fee: 16,000 yen

-Accommodation for 1 night (shared room)
-2 meals (dinner on Day 1 and breakfast on Day 2)
-rental car (gas, parking, toll, etc) for the trip
-organizing/planning fee

Not including:
-Transportation between your home and Mishima station /三島駅
-meals or admission fee to any facilities during this trip not mentioned above
