Humans & Friends [live music]

Humans & Friends is our series of regular casual concerts, where we showcase:

• the music of projects incubated in the Jam With Humans Orchestra
• the progress of the students of the Jam With Humans academy
• the music of very special guests, friends of Jam With Humans.

In summary, we're inviting you to come spend an hour with us on a Sunday evening, and show you a lot of very creative and very diverse music. Different lineup every show. Stay after for drinks and conversations.

PROGRAMME FOR THIS SHOW

Arielle, harp (special guest from New York)
Albert HC Manders, flutes

Arielle and Albert have played as a duo for many years, first playing contemporary classical music then expanding to include improvisation and dance as parts of their collaborative practice. They are currently developing a performance which combines these elements which will have a try-out in Amsterdam on May 30th.

Humans and Friends performance will include duo improvisation, guests from the Jam with Humans Orchestra, and an interactive jam that may include some extra-musical elements such as visual inspiration and room for audience to move with the music.

This is a pay-what-you-want event, which means that we'll ask for a voluntary contribution at the end.

All Humans & Friends shows are non-ticketed, which means that the audience will be let into the room for as long as there are available seats - first come, first served. It's also a family-friendly show, so bring your family, friends, enemies and pets of the goldfish variety.
