This meetup event aims to discuss and introduce persons to the different career paths in tech, their requirements and what to do to start or advance your professional journey in Tech. Today we will be looking at UI/UX Design.

Whether or not you are seeking to have UI/UX as a career path, the skills learn from UI/UX are essential to every organization as customers will gravitate to an application, business, website ect. based on the user experience and design. A poor UI/UX can damage a great product or service. It is therefore essential to have the fundamentals of UI/UX regardless of your profession or skill set.

Careers in technology are as vast and varied and skills learnt in open area or another are many times transferable once applied correctly. If there’s one thing you take away, let it be this: there’s a value in learning even the fundamentals of UI/UX which can be applied to not only technology but all areas of life.
