Harlem stories told by dancers, musicians, poets
and mural artists along Lenox Avenue from 116 to 130th Streets.
Activities will start at noon at Astor Row Cafe (130th & Lenox) where a group escorted by The Laundromat Project will kick off the stroll down the east side of Lenox Ave and then back up the west side of Lenox, stopping to hear Harlem stories in song, dance and spoken word and to meet the mural artists along the way. Visitors can join, listen and view at any time! Look and listen for the drummers to find the group.
Duing the walk artists from Art In FLUX Harlem will be creating sidewalk chalk murals
Artists begin drawing at Noon
