This will be our 11th Meetup for this project.

If you can't be there at 7:30 am then come when you can, and we'll work until sunset.

Tools will be provided, though if you have them, you may want to bring your own pruning shears, axes, etc.

Wear work gloves and work clothes, and you may get your shoes muddy.

Want to help uncover one of Richmond's most historic gems that has not been seen by anyone living? Neglected for a lifetime, James River Hikers is uncovering history around the Pump House and Washington's Arch area.

We are pulling away the weeds and vines and uncovering the stones placed by slaves to reveal the structure conceived by and dedicated to George Washington.

Here's part of what we've done so far.

Before: Washington's arch from the west side.
