This will be our 42nd time restoring gravestones.

Bring rubber gloves. Optional useful things to bring are natural bristle brushes, step ladders, and a bucket for keeping your brush wet. We have a 450 foot hose, so carrying water is minimal.
Cleaning product called D/2, a non-toxic fungicide that is pH neutral and does no harm to stones, will be provided.
James River Hikers created, funded and installed a history sign at the grist mill Dr. Foushee built in 1819 and is now located on the Texas Beach Trail. Here's a related article.
