Paddle to New Point Comfort Lighthouse with Chesterfield County Naturalist Mark Battista. After we launch, we paddle to a beach for lunch, then continue our paddle to the lighthouse. Not for beginner paddlers. Paddling time is approximately 3.5 hours. Paddling distance approximately 4 miles roundtrip.
Bring a packed lunch, lots of water, sunscreen, hat and sunglasses. Lunch should be in a cooler or some other container that can get wet.

Cost $55 - covers transportation, guides, kayak, paddle and PFD
This is a public event with 5 spots currently left as of 4/24/2023, so register ASAP. I will close RSVPs when Chesterfield shows the event as full.
Mark Battista will send out an email a few days before the event with a waiver that must be completed as well as instructions on the meeting location. Should the event be canceled due to weather, Chesterfield Parks & Recreation will issue a full refund.
