Take a fall stroll among the hotrods, meet fellow James River Hikers, and swap trail tales at this one-of-a-kind social event that combines the best of both worlds — classic cars and trail camaraderie. We’ll meet on the front porch of the Historic Fork Inn, a 222-year-old Dinwiddie County plantation house that serves as the centerpiece of the Old School Hot Rodders of Virginia Fall Cruise-In. After introductions, we’ll take a relaxed 45-minute walk through the show to admire the classic cars (usually more than 300!), browse vendor booths, enjoy great music, and maybe grab a bite from one of the food trucks. Afterward, we’ll gather back at Fork Inn — indoors or out, depending on the weather — to chat, laugh, and share hiking stories. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with the Virginia hiking community in a laid-back, fun setting. You’ll leave with new friends, fresh inspiration for your next trail, and maybe even a few favorite hotrods too.
This event is free, and the rain date is Sunday, November 2. (Updates for weather will be posted here.)
📍 Location: 19621 Namozine Road (at the intersection of Rt. 460) Sutherland, VA — about 35 minutes from Main Street Station, Richmond.
