Join me on New Year's Day, Thursday, January 1. The route features athletic shoe friendly, flat, dirt paths as we enjoy the tranquility of The Wetlands and the scenic beauty of The Mighty James.
Meet at 1:45 pm at The Wetlands bulletin board. Navigate to 3330 Landria Drive. RVA 23225. The Wetlands trailhead is located at the end of the cul-de-sac. No facilities at the start, so stop by Sheetz at 2911 Hathaway Road to answer nature's call. There will be restroom facilities when we arrive at Pony Pasture around 1.5 miles into our journey. We'll embark at 2 for an approximately 3-mile loop. Option to take the easy dirt path or navigate the fallen logs and low hanging branches of the parallel path to Pony Pasture.
