March 3, 10am ~ Bryan Park Hike
Details
Note: If you notice that our parking lot is not available due to Fall Line Trail work, head to the parking lot across from the soccer field.
It's March - but no madness for us hikers!!! This is an easy to moderately paced walk of approximately 3 miles. There are paved roads and maintained trails with very little elevation.
Please update your RSVP if you can't make the hike as a courtesy to me and the other hikers. Also, a NO SHOW designation will be marked to show that you didn't show up.
Bring your leashed and well behaved dog to walk along with us. Please keep to the back of the group to avoid any accidental entanglements.
HOW TO FIND US: We will meet at the parking lot across the street from Shelter #1. How to get there? Go on the main road into the park, cross a short stone bridge, then veer RIGHT at each intersection until you get to a parking lot on your right. Meet in that parking lot.
BRING: WATER!!!
HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Joseph Bryan Park was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.
