🌲 Evening Hike at Pocahontas State Park

Join us for a scenic evening hike through Pocahontas State Park! This 6.3-mile hike will take us along wooded trails and over pavement. There is an option to bail out after 4.3 miles.

We will be hiking at a moderate pace, while still keeping things steady and well-paced as a group.

We’ll start in daylight, but it will be dark by the time we finish, so a headlamp or flashlight is strongly recommended.

📍 Meeting Spot: Just past the guard shack on the right-hand side parking area where the porta-potty and soda machine are located.

🚗 Park Entry Fee:
• $7 per vehicle on weekdays
• $10 per vehicle on weekends

What to bring:
• Headlamp or flashlight (recommended)
• Water
• Weather-appropriate layers
• Comfortable hiking shoes
