Sep 13, 9 AM - Three Bakery Blitz

Today we will make a 3.1 mile loop around Church Hill and Union Hill exploring streets and avenues that may be strange to you. Along the way, by clever design, we will pass by Fat Rabbit Bakery, Sub Rosa Bakery & Riverbend Roastery so be prepared to stop and shop. You might want to even pack a grocery bag for your purchases! We'll begin at Libby Hill Park and work our way west to 27th & Broad and the Riverbend Roastery. We'll continue on 25th to the Sub Rosa Bakery then follow 21st Street to the Fat Rabbit Bakery on Venable Street.
If you are unfamiliar with the meet up location, add a few minutes to your travel schedule so you won't get left behind. There is usually ample perking available on East Franklin, 29th Street and Libby Terrace.
If you don't have a clue about the location of Libby Hill Park (rolls eyes) click on the arrow at "How to Find Us" in the event description. An interactive map will be displayed and when "Directions" (on the left) is selected the best route from your current location to the Meet Up rendezvous spot will be revealed to you. Before the hike be sure to place anything that might invite theft in your trunk before you leave your car parked while you are hiking.
Participants should be able to maintain a pace of 2.5 miles per hour. This is a very dog friendly hike.
• What to bring
Water bottle, a cap, visor or bonnet, clothing appropriate for the season, aspirin, sun block, insect repellent, pepper spray, band aids, & practical footwear.
• Availability of Restroom facilities may be limited so manage your pre-hike liquid consumption wisely.
