Need a musical rest?
Jam Oasis is a safe place to make music and friends.
Join us every Monday night (except 2nd Mondays) for open jam sessions led by four teams of volunteers with a different them each week. Great place to socialize and connect with other musicians.
All levels welcome, especially beginners! This is a great way to improve your playing - and have fun making music.

Queen Bee Cultural Center (formerly 8Teen), 3925 Ohio Street, San Diego, CA, USLos Coronados will be going for less of a jam and more of a show, Chords will still be shown but, we might make it a bit more about us:) feel free to bring an instrument!
COWABUNGA! Los Coronados, featuring George Sanger, Leo Lamas, Fernando Lamas, Bob Hoyt and Bruce Sharp. Together we will see how far we get into the night before we mess up and will be forced to retire.

1st Monday - Jam-a-Theme - at Queen Bee's
Queen Bee's Art and Cultural Center, 3925 Ohio St, San Diego, CA, US🎵 1st Monday theme is a MOTOWN JAM! April 6. Come sing and play some of Motown's greatest hits from Smokey Robinson & The Miracles, The Supremes, Stevie Wonder, The Temptations, The Four Tops, The Jackson Five, Wilson Pickett, James Brown, and Gladys Knight. It’ll be uptight and outta sight!
🎵 General Info about 1st Monday Jam Oasis: JAM-A-THEME, is hosted by Karen Riley, who's extensive SongBookPro (SBP) library is sorted by themes. Every 1st Monday we spend the first half jamming on on a fun theme, topic, genre, musician or band. (We try to post a setlist PDF a few days before the jam, and, if you have the SongBook Pro app by Jonathan Salmon we try to email the set in SBP format as well, so let us know if you have the app).
After the break, the 2nd half will be musician's choice from a large collection of songs from all decades, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, 2000's. There are songs for everyone and we LOVE for you join us at a mic 🎤 to lead or help lead as we all sing along. It's FUN!
Music and lyrics will be projected. ALL INSTRUMENTS and voices welcome. All jammers, (no host band). Join us for some musical jamming joy! 🎵
Suggested donation $10 in the hat to help with expenses, but it's not required to join the jam.

3rd Monday Jam - Jamolele assisted open mic
Queen Bee's Art and Cultural Center, 3925 Ohio St, San Diego, CA, USJoin us with the instrument of your choice. This jam features ukulele-oriented chords and offers opportunities to play along, lead a song, but mostly have a great time.

If you'd like to lead a song we don't have, please have your chart ready as a Google Doc and send Cadence a message at least 7 days before the meetup.
Like all jams, it's about community, and everybody playing along. Feel free to stay in your seat or try something new! There is a $10 recommended donation.
