After studying music education and running a performing arts summer camp for four years, I decided to pivot and learn web development. I've worked extensively on Open Source projects and I'm now a Developer Advocate at StepZen. I am also the lead Developer Advocate on the RedwoodJS Core team where I contribute articles, podcasts, and presentations about the framework.

Fullstack Jamstack brings backend capabilities to the Jamstack while taking the best aspects that we all know and love including atomic deploys, global distribution through CDNs, and decoupled sides.

In this talk we explore a number of different open source projects and services that extend the capabilities of the Jamstack by including tools like ORMs, API meshes, and authentication. We'll look at how these additions enable developers to more quickly build sites and applications that are secure, performant, and reliable.
