The Fullstack JAMstack: Add Search, Identity & Serverless Functions to your app

After a short hiatus, we're bringing the SF JAMstack meetup back, just in time to ramp up for the October JAMstack conference (details on that will be announced at the meetup)! Since APIDays and the Decentralized Web Summit are both taking place in SF at the end of the month, we thought it'd be great to get together July 30 for an exploration of what's new and interesting with the JAMstack.

Whether you're a diehard JAMstack advocate or just eager to explore this fast-growing architecture paradigm, you'll walk away from this month's meetup with something practical to apply to any project. This month's theme is all about pushing the boundaries of the JAMstack ー looking closely at how the growth and maturity of the ecosystem is helping transform the JAMstack into an architecture you can bet your corporate site or app on.

In this meetup, we will showcase a non-trivial app built on the JAMstack. We'll tackle some of the hardest challenges of building applications: search, identity, extensibility and deployment -- and we'll do it without a server. We'll build and deploy a fully-functioning application that uses React on the frontend, APIs to manage search and identity, serverless functions to add dynamic functionality, and we'll wrap it all up by showing how to deploy this application securely (without being experts at DevOps).

We are joining forces with the DevRel teams from Algolia, Auth0, and Netlify for this meetup.
