Wake County Public Libraries offers this free virtual program as part of the celebration of Jane Austen's 250th birthday this year!
Author and Austen-Expert Dr. Gabrielle Malcolm will look at how Jane Austen’s great skill with writing character developed into such a solid influence on later authors. Her novels gave us archetypes that are found everywhere in popular culture. Throughout this celebration of Austen’s characters, you will encounter all the greats from Pride and Prejudice, with other stops along the way.
