This group is for people who have studied, worked, or lived overseas and are now thinking about their career in Japan.
Many of us return to Japan (or start our career here) with global experience, only to realize that the reality of working in Japan feels a bit different from what we expected.
This meetup is a casual space to talk openly about work, career paths, and ways of working, without pressure to job-hunt or make immediate decisions.
Who this group is for:
People with study abroad or overseas experience
Those interested in working in Japan from a global perspective
People who want to exchange ideas about career, work culture, and future options
Both professionals and students (job-hunting is NOT required)
What this group is NOT:
Not a formal recruiting or job fair
Not a sales or promotional event
Events are small, casual, and discussion-focused.
You are welcome to just listen, share experiences, or ask questions.
If you’re somewhere between “global” and “Japan,” this space is for you.

We’re hosting a casual networking event where you can freely talk about
work, careers, and different ways of working.
This event is for those who:

- ✔ Are interested in working styles and careers in Japan
- ✔ Are not actively job-hunting but are gathering information
The event will be light and informal, featuring:
- A 15-minute company introduction
- Open networking and free discussion
No obligation to change jobs.
Feel free to join or leave at any time.
Drinks and light snacks will be provided.
