This is our 42nd event and it's one of our most special events ever!

We will be featuring Cuculi and the founders, Yuka and Aleks, who will share with us why they started the company, the benefits, what they foresee the future of the restaurant industry, and how they are currently fundraising. Please join us for this event! We'd like to invite new and existing founders, investors, established startup leaders, and people thinking of starting their own company here in NYC to join us to share wisdom and information across borders.

About CUCULI
A Social Dining Platform with contactless ordering/payment/bill splitting function. Just like how Amazon Go is allowing people to leave the retail stores without going through a cashier, Cuculi allows people to leave the restaurant without having to figure out who owes how much and deal with all the awkwardness and calculation that comes with it!

Yuka's Bio
Yuka Kiso has been an Event & Meetup Organizer for over 10 yrs. Having organized hundreds of events, she experienced how outdated the restaurant industry is in terms of customer service and she understood the pain point of group dining from the customer perspective. This leads her to start building Cuculi in 2019, a Social Dining Platform with a contactless ordering/payment/bill splitting function in order to change and improve the restaurant industry.

Alek's Bio
Aleksandar Tisinovic has 10 years of experience in the finance and payment industry at Mastercard. Originally from Serbia, he worked in Poland, Belgium, Ukraine, and the USA. Many times he experienced the pain point with dining out where payment has always been a hassle starting from waiting for the check and then splitting it fairly among the guests. He teamed up with Yuka to provide a solution to this problem and co-founded Cuculi Inc in 2019.
