Let’s hike the Tour du Mont Blanc (TMB) this August as a fully self-supported trek, camping most nights and carrying all personal gear and food resupplies.

🗓 Dates: Aug 5 – Aug 22
🥾 Hiking: ~11 days on the trail (counter-clockwise from Les Houches)
🏕 Style: Self-supported, tent-based, no luggage transfer
📍 Countries: France 🇫🇷 → Italy 🇮🇹 → Switzerland 🇨🇭

Plan overview:
• Arrive at CDG on Aug 6
• Travel to Geneva → Les Houches
• Complete the full TMB over ~11 days
• Return to Paris at the end
• Spend 1 day in Geneva + 1–2 days in Paris
• Fly back to Tokyo on Aug 22

Estimated expenses (excluding flights):
💰 ~¥150,000-200,000
(Includes transport within Europe, campsites/bivouac, food, and trail expenses)

This is not a guided or hut-to-hut hike. Expect:
• 15–22 km per day
• 800–1,300 m elevation gain on several days
• Variable alpine weather
• Carrying a full pack with camping gear

Looking for hikers who:
• Have multi-day trekking experience
• Are comfortable with self-supported camping
• Can maintain a steady pace in alpine terrain
• Understand the physical and mental demands of this trek
