Meeting place: Lake Okutama @ 8.50am.

Please take the 8.35AM bus -> From Okutama station take Bus 奥10 (to Tabayama Village Office) and get down at Lake Okutama

8:25 AM at JR Okutama Station (奥多摩駅)
We’ll take the 8:35 AM bus together to Okutama Lake (奥多摩湖). Please be on time!

🚶‍♂️ Hike Overview

Route: Okutama Lake → Sasuzawa-yama → Mt. Sogaku → Mt. Gozen → Sakaibashi
Distance: ~9.5 km
Time: ~5.5–6 hours (including breaks)
Difficulty: Moderate (steep start, steady ridge, long descent)
Finish: Sakaibashi Bus Stop → Bus back to Okutama Station (~2:00 PM)
