Join us for a challenging and rewarding 2-day alpine hike to Mt. Tekaridake (光岳), one of the 100 famous mountains of Japan (Hyakumeizan) located in the Southern Alps (南アルプス).

This is a serious mountain adventure with long hiking hours, steep elevation gain, remote trails, and overnight mountain camping.

🚗 Trip Plan

Friday Night (June 5)

• Meet and depart from Nishi-Kasai Station around 6:00 PM
• Drive to the trailhead area/ nearby campsite and camp overnight

• Early morning start
• Hike approximately 13 km with ~2200 m elevation gain
• Overnight stay near the summit area

• Early morning descent
• Descend the same route (~13 km)
• Return to Tokyo in the evening

• Backpack suitable for overnight hiking
• Tent and sleeping bag
