Experience the Traditional Art of Ikebana – Japanese Flower Arrangement. Ikebana is a traditional Japanese art form deeply rooted in everyday life. With over 550 years of history, it helps us notice the quiet beauty of nature and invites us to slow down and reflect. By arranging flowers, you naturally connect not only with nature, but also with yourself.
In this workshop, you’ll learn the history and basic techniques of Ikebana while enjoying the creative process of making your own original arrangement. No prior experience is needed – beginners are warmly welcome! Ikebana is not just about flowers, but also about the beauty of space and simplicity. As you immerse yourself in this calming practice, you may feel a sense of inner peace and clarity.
You’ll be able to take your arrangement home to enjoy the beauty of nature in your own space. Why not add a fresh breeze to your daily life with flowers you’ve arranged yourself?
Let’s relax, create, and enjoy a peaceful moment together through this beautiful piece of Japanese tradition. We look forward to welcoming you!

◆About instructor
-HIKARI
Hello, I’m Hikari Noguchi.
I began studying Ikebana in the Ikenobo tradition at the age of 8, and I currently hold the “Seikyoju” (Professor) certification. I have 18 years of experience in this art.
Now based in Melbourne, Australia, I am dedicated to sharing the beauty and deep philosophy of Ikebana with people around the world, hoping to enrich their daily lives. I especially enjoy connecting with those interested in Japanese culture.
In my workshops, I provide clear and gentle guidance in both English and simple Japanese, so even beginners can participate with confidence.
Through Ikebana, I hope we can spend a peaceful time together—connecting with nature and ourselves in a calm and meaningful way.
