A Meal in Two Languages: Lunch at Uncle Tetsu's CAfe

This event is specifically for beginning Japanese Speakers. Nothing stimulates using a language like having to eat! So we'll be ordering food in Japanese. The staff are all Japanese immigrants or Students work on visa, so you won't have to worry about whether they speak Japanese, only how well you speak. I'll have prepared phrases to help those in dire need. Come out and get a taste of Japan in more ways than one. A GREAT prep for those who have never traveled to the land of the rising sun.

Note: This is NOT a place for people to come and hook up. This for people honestly looking to improve their Japanese and/or English. It is expected that all attendees demonstrate some initial studying in Japanese. To ensure that only serious language participants attend we'll have a "password phrase". I will ask all who come the question "あなたのなまえわ何ですか？". 　（slightly simplified writing for beginners) An appropriate response will be the answer to this question. Anyone who has read the first 1-2 chapters in any Japanese language book should be able to answer this question.

Apologies for the formal procedures but we have too many people who come in with clearly no interest serious language practice. Hopefully this will encourage more serious language students and discourage people who are only looking for dates.
