Hi All!

It is warming up, that means it is time for our Spring Picnic Potluck! Or in other words 春のピクニック!!

Come join us for a Saturday afternoon in the park, great food and good company! Last year after two years off for covid the picnic was a huge success! Time to do it again. :-)

We will be at El Dorado Park in Scottsdale. A lovely park with lakes and swings, ball-fields and thingz! Bring a good picnic potluck dish and join us!

This is a family friendly event! Don't forget the frisbee, whiffle ball, or just your social side and meet us at the park!

We will provide plates, cups, plastic utensils, napkins, and water. Please bring a dish to share and any additional drinks you'd like. We do have an alcohol permit (it allows beer in cans or wine in boxes only, please, no glass is allowed at the park). If you know what you will bring help us out by mentioning it when you RSVP so people have an idea of what things to bring.

The above map has a blue marker pin to the exact tree we will be at!!! Detailed instructions are also given below.

The event is in El Dorado Park, Scottsdale. The picnic area is called "South Picnic Area." It is on the West side of the "South Lake." Here is a link to the park. (http://www.scottsdaleaz.gov/Assets/ScottsdaleAZ/Park+$!26+Recreation/Maps/Eldorado+Park+Map.pdf) From McDowell road turn North on Miller Road (76th Street) and then turn right near the fire station (it almost looks like you are going into the fire station). Go past the fire station. There is a small parking lot near the site. If parking is full there are other areas to park. Here is a google map of the picnic area and parking. https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=zd0aOESSWTUU.kvDGPA3a3aio We have 5 tables and two grills reserved. Note, if you want to use the grills, you will need to bring charcoal and grill implements. Bringing a folding chair is also a good idea in case we have a high turnout.

Looking forward to seeing you there!!!

Note: Pets are allowed, but must be leashed. And the owner has to pick up any "fun". That's a joke, for those of you practicing your Japanese.... :-)
