春のピクニック!! Sunday Afternoon in the Park!

Hi All!

It is warming up, that means it is time for our Spring Picnic Potluck! Or in other words 春のピクニック!!

Come join us for our annual afternoon in the park, great food and good company!

We are back to our original location this year. The South Picnic area. El Dorado is a lovely park with lakes and swings, ball-fields and thingz! Bring a good picnic potluck dish and join us!

This is a family friendly event! Don't forget the frisbee, whiffle ball, or just your social side and meet us at the park!

We will provide plates, cups, plastic utensils, napkins, and water. Please bring a dish to share and any additional drinks you'd like. We do have an alcohol permit (it allows beer in cans or wine in boxes only, please, no glass is allowed at the park). If you know what you will bring help us out by mentioning it when you RSVP so people have an idea of what things to bring.

The above map has a red pin at our exact location. Here are written instructions as well: From McDowell Road turn North on Miller Road. Not 77th Street. That is on the wrong side of the park. Continue North about 200 yards until you see the fire station on the right. Turn into the road just before the fire station. It looks like you are going into the fire station! But continue past the fire station and the road winds around to a parking area by the South Picnic Area.

We have 5 tables and a grill reserved. Note, if you want to use the grill, you will need to bring charcoal and grill implements. Bringing a folding chair is also a good idea in case we have a high turnout.

Note: Pets are allowed, but must be leashed. And the owner has to pick up any "fun". That's a joke, for those of you practicing your Japanese.... :-)
