Hi! I’m Yuka, the organizer of Travelyuka! 😊
Would you like to make new friends in Nice? 🇫🇷✨
This meetup is for anyone who enjoys travelling, languages, Japanese culture, discovering different cultures, and meeting people from around the world.
Rather than a big, crowded party, I’d like to create a small and relaxed gathering where everyone can enjoy meaningful conversations and get to know each other.
Let's meet at a quiet café or bar, enjoy a coffee or drink, and have some nice conversations together! ☕🍷
🌸 About Me
I’m Yuka, a Japanese teacher from Kanagawa, Japan. I’ve travelled to 38 countries so far, and I’m currently travelling around Europe while organizing Travelyuka events in different places along the way.
Madrid was my home base, where I used to organize regular language exchanges and cultural events.
Now, I’m travelling around Europe and creating opportunities to meet new people along the way.
Our previous meetup was in Milan, and this time, I’m excited to meet you in Nice!
Through language and cultural exchange, I hope to bring people together, help them make new friends, and create wonderful connections.
🇯🇵 You don’t need to speak Japanese to join!
I speak Japanese, English, and Spanish, and French is also welcome at this meetup! 🇫🇷
Feel free to communicate in whichever language you're most comfortable with.

☕ What to Expect
Let's enjoy a relaxed and friendly meetup where we can chat, exchange languages and cultures, and get to know each other!
We can talk about Japan, France, our home countries, favourite travel destinations, and much more.
Whether you're travelling around Europe, living in Nice, studying abroad, or simply interested in meeting people from different backgrounds, you're very welcome.
There's nothing you need to prepare in advance, and you don't need to have perfect language skills.
Coming alone is absolutely fine!
If you're new to international meetups or a little shy, don't worry. There's no pressure to talk all the time. Just come as you are and enjoy meeting people at your own pace! 😊

Nice city centre / Nice-Ville train station area.
We plan to meet at a quiet café or bar.
The exact meeting point will be shared with participants before the event.

There is no participation fee!
Please pay for your own food and drinks. ☕🍰

If there are not enough participants, the event may be cancelled.
In that case, I will contact participants individually.
