Japanese Kaiwa Circle in Boca Raton

Welcome to Japanese Kaiwa Circle, a low-key, no-pressure Japanese conversation group for Boca Raton and the surrounding area.
"Kaiwa" (会話) just means "conversation" in Japanese. That's the whole idea: just casual conversation over coffee with people who love the language.

Who's this for? All levels welcome, from total beginners to fluent speakers. Native Japanese speakers, learners, heritage speakers, and anyone curious about the language and culture are welcome to pull up a chair.

What to expect We'll break into small groups so everyone gets a chance to talk, mix skill levels so beginners can learn from more advanced speakers, and keep things relaxed. Each meetup, I'll bring one simple Japanese language concept, a word, phrase, or grammar point, so everyone walks away with something new to take home.

Conversation Topics Feel free to bring any topic you're interested in, the conversation is yours to steer. For those who'd like to focus on grammar, we provide a shared Google Doc of grammar points organized into beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels.
