Language Exchange and Self-study

Welcome to the study group! ようこそ！

The idea is that for the first 40 minutes we will speak in Japanese and English, swapping target language every 10 minutes. 最初の40分は日本語と英語で話し、10分ごとに対象言語を入れ替えるということです。

The rest of the time will be independent study with the companionship of other language learners. 残りの時間は他の言語学習者と一緒に自主学習します。

This is not a classroom, and so you are responsible for bringing your own study materials. You can bring textbooks, phone apps, books, or anything really. Feel free to ask a question to other members if there is something you don’t understand, but remember that they are there to study also! ここは教室ではありませんので、教材は各自でご持参ください。教科書、携帯アプリ、本など、本当に何でも持ち込んでいただけます。わからないことがあれば他のメンバーに気軽に質問してもいいです。ただし、メンバーは勉強するためにいるということも忘れないでください。

There is a 200yen participation fee to cover administrative costs of a meetup group. This is payable to the host at the meetup in cash please. You must also purchase a drink from the cafe. ドリンク代とは別に2００円の参加費をお願いしています。
