About us

A few years ago, I went through a difficult period in my life. During that time, I started practicing Japanese Shodō (traditional Japanese calligraphy). Through writing characters slowly and focusing on each stroke, I found that it helped calm my mind and improve my mental well-being.

Because of this experience, I would love to share the beauty and mindfulness of Shodō with people from around the world. Many people know Western calligraphy, but Japanese Shodō is a little different — it combines art, philosophy, and meditation.

In my workshops, you can:
• Learn basic brush techniques
• Write simple Japanese characters
• Experience the calming and mindful aspect of Shodō

No experience is necessary, and beginners are very welcome.
