Two Weeks Vacation Test ◽ Analysis on Media Reviewers in Cross-Cultural Market

Details

Welcome to the city of arts and media!

The Story:
Reading books and media from different culture and countries has never been easier IMHO; my guest is interested in exploring books from English-written media side while some of my friends ask me for recommendation for them to explore something in the Far East media.
Because the intended audience / reader is different, I had to be careful and went on to read some reviews on the media before I went ahead and suggest it to the friend who asked for my picks. From there, noticing quite a difference in the criticism, I was intrigued to trace up the referenced works and what these reviewers were trying to all say in common as well as in contrast to that from the domestic audience.
For those who like reading or exploring foreign media, I'd like to warmly invite to join us to share ideas and resources on how better we can appreciate them -- although this will involve many small focused topics in the future, at the moment, say -- by analyzing the demographics of the reviewers instead of the works themselves, and possibly by further cross-referencing the underlying literature (the fun part!)

If you're new to foreign books and media, I'd be interested in hearing your impression on what we'll discuss -- even better if you'd like to actually read or watch the discussed references. So, feel free to ask question or come and meet us if you're a curiously spirited person.

Zang Hai and Bo-ningyo side's talk
This will now slow down but will continue as a side topic as we're gradually more interested in the books and the topics derived from the reviewers' analysis.

Always good to bring..
