Martin Treiber is an IT professional with over 25 years of experience, a company founder, and a part-time farmer.

Learn what the Model Context Protocol (MCP) is and why it's becoming increasingly important for the effective use of Large Language Models (LLMs).

Marián Varga is a freelance software engineer with over 20 years of professional experience. In his work he connects software systems as well as the people involved. He is a co-author of an upcoming book Mastering RESTful web services with Java, see more at love2integrate.com.

His talk will show how Java developers and Java teams can benefit from adding Kotlin to their tool set in various ways, increasing the code quality and developer happiness. I will tell you about different ways to combine your Java code and skills with Kotlin. Besides considering the usage of Kotlin, the Java developers will learn why it's important to pay more attention to new versions of Java. If you already like Kotlin, but everyone around you prefers Java only, this talk will give you arguments to try to change their mind.
