The Hibernate team did it again! A new release with hot new features! Version 6.0 already was very innovative, but now comes 6.1 that adopts more and more advanced SQL features. Christian Beikov is a software engineer working with Java/Jakarta EE technologies since school. He worked on a SRM (supplier relationship management) system for 9 years and is the founder of Blazebit, a company that provides consulting services, support for Blaze-Persistence and related technologies. Since November 2020 he works as full time Hibernate developer at Red Hat. His main interests are in distributed systems, database technologies and everything Java/JVM-related.
