Event-Driven Microservices - Beyond the fairy tale

Details
Allard Buijze is the Founder and CTO of AxonIQ. He began developing a great passion for computer programming at age 6, which has only grown stronger as he's explored and worked in this field over the past few decades. He has guided large and small organizations in building performant and scalable applications. Now, he is on a mission to make implementations of large-scale systems easier, using the concepts of Domain-Driven Design, Command-Query Responsibility Separation, and Event-Driven Architecture. He created Axon Framework as an open-source experiment, initially over 12 years ago. But when various organizations started using it as a solution to their complex problems, AxonIQ was born.
Through his conviction that good craftsmanship can only be achieved through a continuous exchange of experience with others, Allard is a frequent speaker at conferences and meetups and enjoys giving in-person and online trainings to fellow developers and architects. Allard is also regularly found in board rooms, explaining the concepts and values of DDD, CQRS, and EDA to C-level executives.
