The future is responsive and you simply can't articulate the fluidity needed for it on paper (or in Photoshop). If you're a designer for the web, the future is being able to design in browser, and to do that, you're going to need to know HTML and CSS. Let's get you started on that path.

Location

This meetup will be held at Meetup HQ! Their front page is closed, so use the entrance at 166 Crosby Street.

Sponsors

NBCUniversal's O&TS Publishing Team is sponsoring refreshments for the meetup and the awesome people at Meetup are hosting us.

First off, I hate writing about myself in the third person. I am on a life long quest to write custom code faster than anyone. My daily weapons are HTML, CSS, Sass, Foundation, Compass, and WordPress. My dream job would be teaching web development to eager people every day.

I'm going to be presenting as well. For those who don't know me, I'm the Senior Front End Developer for NBCUniversal, organize this meetup group, co-organize the New York Sass meetup, and am helping to put on the firs-ever Sass Conference.
