Transforming Children’s Lives Hackathon - $10K Cash Awards

Starting the evening of October 25th, through October 27th, join Austin developers and designers, investors, non-profits, and churches, in supporting the good work of transforming children’s lives. The weekend hackathon will focus the passion, purpose, and creativity of our entrepreneurial community and connect incredible innovators with Christian investors, organizations, and initiatives that need their talent.

The weekend will steer participants toward the development of apps with over $10,000 being awarded. We're looking for games to teach and enable, in children, greater spiritual justice; consider building Kiva to increase the generosity; ask why our Churches still lack something like Udemy to bring kids together and inspire future leaders - and change that. International Justice Mission will join us, encouraging technology to help report and expose human trafficking and alert authorities.

October 26th and 27th with an evening on the 25th to inspire the weekend, at the Acton School of Business.

Two tracks to the weekend serve both new ideas, that emerge from the weekend, AND entrepreneurs with an app already in development.
