Intro To TypeScript Language - (Gil Fink)

Creating cross-platform, application-scale JavaScript code that runs in any browser or in any host is very hard. TypeScript is a programming language that changes that situation. In this session, you will get to know the TypeScript language.

Gil Fink ,a web development expert, ASP.NET/IIS Micrsoft MVP and the founder of sparXys. Currently consulting for various enterprise companies, helping them develop web and RIA-based solutions. He conducts lectures and workshops for individuals and enterprises who want to specialize in infrastructure and web development. He is also co-author of several Microsoft Official Courses (MOCs) and training kits, co-author of "Pro Single Page Application Development" book (Apress), the founder of Front-End.IL meetup and co-organizer of GDG Rashlatz meetup.

Fulfilling The Promise With Async/Await- (Ran Wahle)

Async/await is typescript language feature, based on es2016 standards enables your code to looks much better than code using promises. In this session we'll show how an async/await based code looks like, compare it to a promises based one and dive a little deeper to show how it works.

Ran Wahle, a full-stack developer at Global-E. He has many years of experience in web development, consulting, tutoring and speaking, mainly in the fields of web development. Ran also tends to volunteer, teaching Math at a high-school, helping minorities get into the hi-tech industry, and developing applications for NGOs.

Making Sense In TypeScript Module Systems - (Noam Kfir)

In this session, sort out the mess and talk about the differences between internal and external modules, writing client and server code, how the TypeScript modules map to JavaScript modules in different versions of JavaScript, and about integration with build tools like Gulp.

Noam Kfir , a senior architect and trainer at Sela Group and leads Sela's web team. He is also a Telerik Developer Expert, organizes the Front-End.IL Meetup and is generally addicted to TypeScript.
