Something smells IF-y - A cleaner approach to Feature Toggles - (Yuval Shaked)
So your Product Manager wanted to test a new feature but only for some of the users. Naively you added a few if conditions to your code. 4 weeks later you are drowning in if conditions and now no one can follow the app logic.
Fear not! You don’t have to turn your code to the programmatic equivalent of Twister. I will demonstrate a cleaner alternative to implement feature toggles on both your server and client side.
~~
Yuval Shaked, a product manager turned developer.
I like writing code. Sometimes on the server, sometimes on the browser, sometimes on the back of my hand so I won't forget.
Filled with awe at the attachment we have to the number of spaces we prefer after a curly bracket.
