Buntime - What is Bun? (Eyal Cohen)

Bun is the hottest thing in town.
The project is a new JavaScript runtime, transpiler, and bundler.
One of the main selling points of Bun is its speed - it can handle twice the amount of HTTP requests per second as Node and Deno.
Our goal during this presentation is to explore the brief history of Bun, compare benchmarks to determine if Bun is really that fast, and discover ways to leverage and benefit from the technology right away. Moreover, we will learn what it is not capable of doing, as well as the roadmap for Bun future development.

Writing JS for phone calls (Yonatan Mevorach)

We've all had the pleasure(?) of calling some business on the phone and having to navigate through their automated call-routing system (think "dial 1 for sales, dial 2 for support", etc.), but did you ever wonder how they're programmed?
I did when I set out to write a system that will order lunch for me and my team by having my bot assistant "talk" to the real person picking up calls at our favorite restaurant.
In this talk I will take you into the world of Interactive Voice Response (IVR) systems and show how to program them with Javascript.
