Hey Hackers,

What if we were putting ReactJS + Angular developers in the same room and we provide them the same requirements for an application, a reactive application. Which group would build his application faster? Would you like to share your techniques with everyone?

Here is another scenario, what if you were an Angular developer that wants to learn how to use ReactJS or the other way around? What if we gave you a buggy application that you'll have to fix before adding new features to it using either Angular or React? How fast would you go? Would you want to share your findings with other developers?

Our HackJam will be just about that. We have built the same application with ReactJS and Angular. It uses RXJS for handling reactive mechanism. We invite you to spend the evening learning how to build such an app yourself with the help of our mentors.

This is not a battle between Angular and React developers but a way to work together on the same issues, learn from each other and improve our workflow. Join our event even if you're not using any of these tools. You'll still learn a lot regardless of your background.

By the end of the evening, you should be able to answer these questions:

• What is Functional Reactive Programming?

• How to use React and RxJS?

• Why the new version of Angular leveraging RXJS?

• What are the main differences between Angular and React?

HackJams are free and fun so join us. If you want to be a mentor during these sessions, please email us at mentors@hackages.io.

Requirements:

• Bring your own computer with node and git installed

• Have a good understanding of JavaScript or any other programming languages

We will start at 7 PM.
