When Extreme Programmers become AI Researchers: Bringing Machine Learning to the picture - Filipe Amaral and João Gonçalves

In the Summer of 2023, an AI Research team was formed by developers from the SDC. The goal was to know if it was possible to use state-of-the-art machine learning methods for potential industry use-cases using factory data, such as point clouds and panoramic pictures. We had to change our ways of working when many challenges arose from researching AI.
