Coding Battle

We’ve got some exciting news for you! we are organizing a CODING BATTLE!

• You want to improve your skills and learn from others?

• You wanna learn the nifty tools and techniques that will help you become more productive?

• And above all, you wanna have fun and mingle with passionate devs?

It’s for coders, no need to be a JS expert to participate. Everyone stands a chance. It's about having fun and learning from each other's techniques.

The competition will last around 2h.

The challenge is done in teams of 2 - No problem if you’re by yourself (80% of participants are). We’ll have some matchmaking time at the beginning of the event.

Bonus: the winning team gets a small reward

*** The challenges ***

It will start with 6 challenges and teams will have 60 minutes to solve them. Challenges will be about ES6, Javascript fundamentals, performance and ReactJS. Challenges will contain tips. Some challenges will be easy and others will be more difficult. There will be some mentors you can ask for help if you get blocked.

Pairs will pick up the challenges they want to solve, the more challenges you solve the more points you get. You don't need to know about everything, remember you'll work in pairs ;)

The first 2 teams will go to the final. They'll have to solve a performance challenge in 15 minutes. Their screens will be projected in their back and they will be facing the crowd.

Remember, it's about learning and having fun. If you don't get to the final you'll have the chance to see how the more experienced people work :)
