Title: Migrating a jQuery codebase to React by Gabriel Pugliese
Abstract:
In this talk I will share the care we are having to migrate our JS codebase incrementally from jQuery and PHP Blade Templates to React and Redux as well as the problems we faced and how we solved them.
Bio: My name is Gabriel Pugliese, I'm a Web Engineer 'architecting' the frontend project at Personio. I'm a developer for 10 years, passionate about computers for 21 years. I worked with high-load and real-time systems in the past, creating and consuming APIs both on backend and frontend and I sometimes can touch some points of the devops world. What I really like is to delight my customers.
Title: An Universal Talk with Angular
Abstract:
In this talk, Adrian will talk about Isomorphic apps with Angular; Angular Universal.
Bio: I'm Adrián Ferreres and asthma, star trek and videogames (I'm not clear on what order) led me, when I was 11, to start programming. Since then I have not stopped (from having asthma, seeing star trek, playing video games and programming).
In 2012 I left Java to start with JavaScript and I liked it ... a lot. I liked it so much that now I only do that. The since 2011 I have been working only in Angularjs and, since beta 17, in Angular. I have done projects in both technologies within the business field, which has given me a vision and an experience as an architect that I would like to share with you so that we can all learn from each other.
Thanks to Personio for hosting us and providing yummy food & drinks!
