Hot Garbage: Clean Code is Dead w/Michael Chan
Please register via Eventbrite to be on the Guestlist: Hi JavaScriptLA fans, The Code is rising up to enslave us. An army of linter-plugins have given it a voice and it's angry. Clean code isn't the goal, its the enemy. Great code isn't clean, it's hot garbage—hot-swappable and easy to throw out. Code is a means to an end. When we stop fetishizing code and start fighting it, we've found the right enemy and we can get back to to the good work of serving customers. About the Presenter: Michael Chan is a second career web developer. He has a business degree and 10 years of accounting experience that went up in flames during the financial collapse of 2008. He's now an international speaker and React educator. He loves helping second-career devs jumpstart their career with React at Contest Snap a selfie of yourself as at the Meetup tonight, follow and tag @javascriptninja on (to be entered into our monthly raffle - someone will win a free workshop ticket, book or Udemy course - value up to $25).
