Abstract of Talk 1: In this talk, we embark on an exploration of micro frontend architecture, revolutionizing frontend development paradigms. The session commences with an insightful overview of micro frontends, emphasizing their advantages and the critical need for modularity in contemporary web applications. We navigate through the challenges posed by monolithic architectures and how ReactJS empowers developers to deconstruct these monoliths into manageable, independently deployable components. Throughout the discourse, we delve deep into pivotal concepts, including communication strategies between micro frontends, robust state management methodologies, and efficient routing and navigation techniques. A key highlight of the talk lies in the exploration of host and remote app concepts within micro frontend architectures, elucidating their role in achieving seamless integration and collaboration. Moreover, the session includes a live demonstration showcasing the practical implementation of micro frontend architectures using cutting-edge tools like webpack module federation and customizing Vite configurations for Vite-based applications. This hands-on demonstration provides attendees with actionable insights and practical knowledge to kickstart their micro frontend projects. By the end of the session, attendees will walk away with a rich understanding of: 1. The principles and benefits of micro frontend architectures. 2. Strategies for overcoming challenges associated with monolithic frontend structures. 3. Advanced communication techniques and state management strategies in micro frontend ecosystems. 4. Practical insights into implementing host and remote app concepts. 5. Hands-on experience with webpack module federation and Vite configuration modifications for micro frontend development.
Abstract of Talk 2: In this session, we will delve into the complexities of managing dates and times in JavaScript, a task historically fraught with challenges and errors due to the Date object's limitations and the reliance on external libraries. We will explore the significant advancements brought about by the introduction of the Temporal API in ECMAScript, which offers developers a comprehensive and user-friendly suite of features for handling dates, times, time zones, and durations more effectively.
