JAX Animation is a group to gather local artists in the Northeast Florida area who are on the Animation journey.
From beginners to professionals, this group is for Animators, Story Artists, Stylists, Character Designers, World Designers, Background Painters, Prop Artists, Color Artists/Colorist, Layout Artists, FX Artists/Animators, Inkers, Writers, etc.
Artists who have a passion for animation, or are interested, are welcome!!
**This group was created to focus on 2D Animation [traditional, digital animation]. Yet, 3D and Stop Motion creatives are also welcome!
The animation industry in Jacksonville, FL is pretty much nonexistent. If you want to get into it, you'll most likely have to relocate for work, unless you freelance. Yet, there are aspiring artists here who are pursuing a career in animation, eager to learn, or just haven't landed a job yet.
This group is to bring all of you in one place so that we can Network, Share, Collaborate and Learn.
I see potential in Jacksonville, FL. It is the most populous city in Florida. When this group grows, I see Jacksonville as a new place to be a hub for Animation!!
